Todd A. Smith is Senior Director Compliance for LM Wind Power, a GE Renewable Energy business. Todd isbased in the Netherlands.Joining GE in April 2005, Todd has worked for 12 years in GE compliance roles of increasing responsibility, including roles with GE Capital, GE Water & Process Technologies, and GE Power. Before joining GE, Todd worked with Imation Europe B.V. based in the Netherlands as European In-House Corporate Counsel and the law firm of Foster, Swift, Collins & Smith based in Lansing, Michigan. Todd holds a J.D. from The Ohio State University College of Law and a B.A. in Business and Political Science from Alma College in Michigan.
LM Wind Powerwas acquired by GE Renewables in April 2017 for $1.65 billion and is a Denmark-based manufacturer and supplier of rotor blades to the wind industry.
Todd will be speaking about compliance integration strartegy which should be present to ensure successful acquisition. His presentation is based on practical experience and lessons learned from the process of GE Renewables acquiring LM Wind Power.
