Alissa is a Compliance Leader at General Electric – Grid Solutions business in charge of whistle-blowing programme, ombuds network and investigation of compliance alerts. In her role, Alissa supervises investigations in all areas of risk, using the lessons learnt to drive process improvement and to increase awareness throughout the organization. Prior to joining Compliance, Alissa was Internal Control Director at Alstom, where she integrated the newly acquired business into the group internal control and risk mapping framework. Before stepping into compliance and investigations, Alissa was Finance Director in the electrical industry and held various finance roles in France, Germany and Russia. Since 2014, Alissa is a Certified Fraud Examiner and member of ACFE. Alissa earned her Master’s degree in Economics from North Carolina State University (USA) and Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from St. Petersburg State University (Russia). Alissa will be part of a panel discussion in the summit section “Insights into Investigations”.
