Konrad is a Lead Data Scientist at eBay Classifieds Group. He has worked on multiple projects translating data to business value. He is responsible for delivering strategy around leveraging Data Science techniques to help solve real-world customer problems across the group. Before joining eCG Konrad has been making a living crunching numbers for over a decade, dabbling in data science in an era when people still called it data mining. After obtaining a PhD in statistics at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, he worked on data problems in banking, insurance, commodities and cryptocurrencies. In his spare time, Konrad is a Krav Maga practitioner, avid reader of Terry Pratchett books and a huge Iron Maiden fan.
