Chairman, Director Strategic Analysis
is Director of Strategic Analysis at FrieslandCampina, one of the world’s largest dairy companies. In this role he has amongst others developed high-accuracy forecasting tools for dairy market prices up to three quarters forward. The tools deliver critical input to continuously pricing FrieslandCampina’s global € 3 billion/year cheese, butter and milk powder businesses.
He speaks and lectures frequently at universities and on business seminars on the topics of strategic analysis, competitive strategy and related data analysis and management. He holds a PhD from Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands and is alumnus of the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis in Vienna, Austria. He lives with his wife and daughter in the Netherlands. In 2017 he wrote two books on strategy and data analysis: The Strategic Analysis Handbook and The Strategic Analysis Toolbook, both published by LID Publishing London.
